尼古拉斯·布莱克(Nicholas Blake 1904-1972)，是英国桂冠诗人 塞西尔·戴·刘易斯的笔名。他生于爱尔兰，长于伦敦，享有牛津大 学与哈佛大学教授、大不列颠功勋骑士等多种显赫身份，出版过大量 彪炳史册的诗歌集。著有以“奈杰尔·斯特雷奇威”(Nigel Strangeways)侦探为主角的悬疑小说系列。尼古拉斯·布莱克“拥有 构筑谜案小说的非凡能力”，“在英国侦探小说史上独树一帜”。 1968 年，他荣获桂冠诗人的职衔。1972 年因病逝世。
